I would love to move out of South Mississippi, but the wife wants to stay close to her family, and rgua I do not have much of a choice.

Which is is a dumb reason to stay because her mother and father are racist, and she does not talk to them much at all any longer.

As for me, I do not think anything is wrong with me or my access, because I ran my full dialysis treatment earlier today without any issues. I think I having an unnecessary operation in the morning.

So it is a mix of the crappy healthcare system down here, and not being able to leave the state.

I do not care or play Fortnite so this does not appeal to me I. rhe least.

However, I have friends that love their Xbox, for some reason, and do not have a PS4. Which means the possibility of games like Madden or Call of Duty could get opened up in the future. That is actually not a bad total for a mediocre to bad game. I think fond memories of the original game as a kid fueled those sales. However, lppthe truth is the original game wasn't good either. People just think it was good because gamers had limited choices back in the 8 bit era. It was either this or Mario, and we all finished Mario a million times by then, so this was new, but it wasn't great, and neither was the sequel.

I forgot to mention that the Playstation Classic is 100 bones. That is roughly 5 dollars per game. I guess that's a good deal per game wise, but I'm never going to play some of those games they are going to put on there. Therefore, that basically drives up the per game value a lot more when all things are considered.

Like I spoke in my previous post, if they would just put Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9, Breath of Fire 4, Legend of Dragoon, Xenogears, Legend of Legaia and just call it a JRPG PS1 classic, they would already have my money. As it stands this is not a must have product.

The doctor was super nice at the weight loss clinic. My wife did not like him because he asked her some medical questions, and not just me. She is a very private person, and was a bit unhappy with having to answer personal questions when I was the inenjaving the appointment. He was just being through, and she thought he was rude.

Overall fir me the experience was pretty good. I have to attend weight loss meetings, have a diet plan, and go see a therapist to make sure that I'm not insane and can handle the rigors of the process and surgery.

I guess it would not be smart to mention my life goal of "Having homeless people fight to the death for my amusement." During our session.

I have my first Doctor's appointment with the weight loss surgeon tomorrow afternoon.

I'm kind of excited to see what I will look and feel like in a few momths when I'm much smaller. Plus my left knee is a bit sore, and the less weight on it the faster I will be able to move around when walking. I'm just looking forward to the future and some change.

The bad news is that I will never be able to use a straw again. Plus I will have to take a crap ton of vitamins to supplement my protein loss for the first few months, then leas supplements later, but I will have to take some forever too. All in all the pros out weigh the cons in this situation.

I finally restarted Dad of boy again. I had the free time, and I'm having quite the bit of insomnia so it seemed like the right time to pick up the game again. I looked at my save file, and it's been since June 21st since I last played. I remember being sick, and the after I got better I just did not feel like playing any games, but that ended today.

The combat system is very difficult, but I managed to pick it back up and remember what I was doing all those months ago. Which leads me to this conclusion.

Warner Brothers priority right now is a Supergirl movie. I'mnot sure that's the right play, but I do not run a multi billion dollar movie studio either.

Once they get a Superfirl movie off the ground the plan next is to probably cast Michael B. Jordan as Clark Kent/Superman. I am 100% sure the Internet won't break in half over that potential casting choice.

People will say, "He's not the right choice for the character." But what they really mean is that he is not the right color for the character. A part of me hopesthat they do vast him just so I can see the racist chaos that would follow.

The current trend of horrible horror movies baffles me. I bring this up because of The Nun being number 1 at the box office this weekend.

The Conjuring, Anabelle, Anabelle 2: It's still a ******* Doll, Paranormal Craptivity etc, my goodness. Now this mess, granted real nuns are scarier than anything Hollywood could make up.

I guess I'm old and remember when horror movies had blood and guts and boobies, lots and lots of boobies. They had scary main characters, interesting premises, blood, boobs, and young people making stupid decisions because they were either drunk or high...pr bpth, Not because they bought a house, and moving would be too expensive.

From all the reviews season 2 of Iron Fist is a lot better than season 1. Considering that season 1 was a giant turd, and they 86'd Scott Buck (Thank Goodness) that is not a surprise.

I've been having trouble sleeping the last few pre dialysis mornings, and so I've been scouring the streaming services, and on Amazon Prime streaming I found the one and only season of Dilbert the cartoon.

The show was pretty good, and a lot more clever and cynical than I remember. Daniel Stern and Chris Elliott provide the voices of Dilbert and Dogbert respectively, and they do a solid job.

.I suggest if you're having trouble sleeping, like I am, to put this on for a few laughs.

Normally I would watch a little Twitch, but everyone is streaming Spider-Man, and I am not trying to spoil that game for myself.

Tropical Storm Gordon veered east at the last minute, and crushed Mobile and Pensacola, and spared us along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In the last hours before it was scheduled to hit us directly it started turning north and stayed east. No one knows why, and it makes little to no sense, but that's what happened. These darn storms are so unpredictable.

I guess the best part was not losing satellite, Internet, or power at all. Plus we now have hurricane snacks leftover that will now become football snacks for tomorrow night and Sunday.

My wife made it home safe, and she is making cornbread for the red beans and rice. They ended up closing the casino gambling floor at 3, and she got to leave work at six central time. However, the hotel is still open, and they are letting people stay in the hotel on the upper floors.

The weather still hasn't gotten bad yet, not even a drop of rain, but the doom is coming, and we are preparing for the worst as we are going to get a direct hit here in Jackson county. The wind has really started picking up and the sky is really dark in the background as our house faces south.

Well, Sony isn't budging on this whole cross platform play issue, and I don't blame them at all. Opening up cross play for Fortnite on the PS4 does absolutely nothing for Sony, it only helps Nintendo, Microsoft, and Epic games, but not Sony, so why do it?

However, the best part of this whole internet drama is Sony's response to all of this.

Netflix just cast Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivea in The Withcher Series.

These things tend to fall apart as creative teams are put into place, budgets and scripts are finalized, etc, etc, etc...

Personally I do not think he is the right person to play this character, but I am not a Waitcher expert. I have not read the books, which is what they are basing the show off of.

What do you all think?

No change in my ststatus from when I posted earlier. However, the storm has gotten stronger much quicker, which is the norm for tropical storms this time of the year.

I have early blood filtering so I'm off to bed. I'm sure there will be no more good news tomorrow.

I might lose power and internet for the next few days going into the weekend, so if the storm is worse than expected please make sure to keep posting, and keep the purge monster away.

Under a damn tropical Storm warning. Tropical storm Gordon formed in the Gulf last night, and it seems as if we are going to get a direct hit sometime tomorrow.

I have dialysis in the morning. Super early as usual, six thirty central time, and so that isn't an issue at all. The real concern is Scarlett has to be af work at 12:15 and gets off at 8:15, right when the weather is supposed to be at its worse. This creates 2 scenarios...

1. I am going to be home alone with all the kitty cats during the storm, and she is going to be stuck at work and unable to get back to me because of road flooding and 60mph winds and rain.

2. She is able to leave early and able to be here with the cats and I, and we ride the storm out together.

Now the problem with scenario 2 is that she works at a casino. The Mississippi gaming commission has to shut down the casino, and not the casino itself. This is good and bad because the Gaming Commission doesn't care about money, but only the safety of the people working at the casino. It's bad because the casino doesn't care about anything but making money, meaning they will stay open until the very last minute risking the lives and well being of people for a profit.

Believe it or not morons love to gamble, and some even like to gamble during hurricanes. People are dumb, and because people are weak and dumb, my family suffers.

I hope eveeurging turns out fine, but who knows, but I will keep you updated.

Slow news day so I will talk about a conversation I had with my wife a few months back. In this scenario I will play me, and she will play her.

Scarlett: What would happen if we won the lottery?

Me: I would have homeless people fight each other to the death for my amusement.

S: Seriously.

M: I am serious. Depending on my mood I would have them dip their tape wrapped hands in broken glas, and continue the fight, Kickboxer style.

S: (Dirty look) I mean how would we raise our kids?

M: Oh that. Yeah, we would raise them in severe poverty.

S: What?

M: We would pretend we are very poor, and raise them humble as hell. When they are 18 we would tell them they were rich all along, and send them off to college.

S: Are you serious?

M: Absolutely. We would have a whole secret lair under the house with our fancy food, drink, and electronics, and upstairs we would have broken furniture, wat bologna sammiches, and deink kool aid. Just like when I was a kid. Maybe even throw in some roaches to really sell the poverty.

S: That's messed up.

M: But they wouldn't be spoiled entitled little *****!

If I missed your response P.O. I would like to apologize.

So, I use to have one of those catheters in my neck when I first started dialysis like 4 or 5 years ago. Then I got one in my upper right chest, and it is not as effective as the needles or as safe. Scarlett was worried about pulling it out during her sleep, she is a wild sleeper, but I will save that for another post, and I could only sleep on my back or side because if I rolled over wrong the cath could come out, and I could bleed to death in my sleep because it is connected to my arteries, and has a direct line to ly heart.

One time the chest catheter actually did come out when I was in the hospital. I had bed sores on my back, and so I rolled over to get off my back and onto my side, and I rolled onto the catheter, and bam it came out. There was blood everywhere, and for like the 5th or 6th time I almost died. Because no matter how much you scream or press the call button the nurses and techs do not come fast enough.

After that I got a catheter on my stomach for home dialysis. However, it turns out my body stored a tremendous amount of liquid. As I no longer make urine all the fluid stays with me, and it turns out everything is fluid. While the toxins did come out of my body during the home dialysis the fluid stayed with me, and I almost died again. My left foot got Infected, and u lost half of my left foot and my pinky toe on that foot. (Ironically, I don't have my right foot, and my left one still works, well half of it anyway.)

Now previously I had two graphs in my arm fail, one in each arm. The left one failed so bad I almost had my left arm cut off. In fact my left hand is permanently numb because of the restricted blood flow from that failed graph. I'm never going to be able to properly play fighting games again. (Street Fighter for example) After the two failed in my arms, and the one in my stomach, and the limited time that the chest catheter can work, they had to do a hail Mary and put one in my chest, it's called a "Necklace" or "Rosary" graph.

Now my choices were on my thighs, right or left, or in my back at the base of my spine. (F That) The chest graph won out in the end, and after all of that; it is why I get stuck with very sharp needles in my chest 3 times a week, 4 hours at a time.

I understand it is a slow news day, but to complain about the graphics of a game that has not been released yet, in comparison to an E3 screenshot with prerelease photos is just dumb.

If you haven't heard; some crazy Reddit user decided that Insomniac's new Spider-Man game has downgraded graphics over a damn puddle. The puddle is smaller, not as shiny, less reflections, etc. Seriously, a damn puddle. I hate people.

It makes me sad because a whole generation of kids won't understand the term "Skinamax."

It happened after The HBO/AT&T merger. They claim that you can get adult content from a variety of different places, which is. Very true. Doesn't change my sadness though. But I'm sure some lonely man or woman wants to watch "Real Sex 15" or "Taxi Cab Comfessions" without the shame or a browser history.

As huge Spider-Man fan I have played all the games, good, bad, and even terrible. So the thought of a Triple A Spider-Man game built from the ground up with an original story, and developed by Insomniac, well I'm excited.

Shattered Dimensions wasn't bad. Level design was solid. I liked Web of Shadows was so much fun, but it was buggy as hell, to the point where it was almost unplayable. The game froze more than I e Man in front of a girl or a guy, depending on the writer.

Still a bit shocked P.O. is Interested in the game, but Cyberpunk and Red Red 2 are a bit less of a shock. Hea y ot driven games with a variety of choices, that screams P.O.

Plus we are getting a Streets of Rage 4 too.

Caught the tail end of the gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red (The Witcher Series) on Twitch earlier this afternoon.

The game reminds me a combination of Deus Ex, System shock, and a little Bioshock with a lot of cussing and guns, plenty of guns. Guns and cussing in a pretty package and a lovely meat presented box and bow.

The one thing I took from this whole experience was that you are going to need a beyond high end PC to run the game to even close to high end settings. I personally do not want to drop 1,500 to 2,000 to play a game, but that's just me.

Granted the game looks fantastic, but it should for the 4 to 5 thousand dollar computers the game is being built on presently. I'm sure the game will come.out on PC (Of course) and Playstation 5 and whatever cute name Microsoft is going to give their next Xbone.

I'm okay with waiting. Sure, I have burned through 43 episodes of My Hero Academia on lole 3 weeks, but now I'm going back with rhe old lady and I get to watch it all over again, so there is some fun in that.

With One Punch Man it is sad that it has taken so long for season 2 to arrive, but they switched animation studios between season 1 and 2, and that has caused rhe massive delay.

As for the complaint about Deku and his lack of confidence, it's better than having a main character who is an arrogant A hole. Besides he is the complete opposite of Bakugan who personality matches his quirk. I know it's a matter of personal preference, but give it some time, he gains confidence as the story progresses. It's a superhero origin story where a kid grew up normal in a world full of super powered beings everywhere, of course he has confidence issues.

Black Dablia was just a terrible movie. It was a well acted Tues in the punch bowl. The performances were solid, but everything else was an exercise in stupidity and frustration.

Also, while I think Scar Jo is a very talented and pretty lady, and I literally love redheads, for obvious reasons; Mary Jane Watson, my wife, I find myself liking Jennifer Lawrence more. I think she's a better actress (Watch Joy and American Hustle.) And she is easy on the eyes and is a bit of a crazy drunk too. I kind of like mentally unstable women, it makes them more attractive to me. I guess I have issues too.

I know Shonen Manga/Anine get bad reps from fans, but I freaking love "My Hero Academia."

I've been watching the Anine on Hulu, and it's really good. My favorite character is "All Might" which is one hell of a name for a superhero. He's basically their version of Superman in that universe, but a lot better, deeper, more complex of a character.

Yes there are tropes, it's a damn anime, but I'm not going to be ashamed for liking something, and neither should any of you.

I figured since we are discussing superheroes and names it kind of fit to the overall theme of the first few pages of the topic. I think it's a fun anime, give it a shot if you have some time.

My channel options are limited at dialysis. Maybe 30 channels, and a lot of them are junk. I am forced to watch "Bar Rescue."

My God is it a terrible hour of television, but it's either this or "Cake Wars" or "Ryan Seacrest and the lady."

Anyway, I have grown fond of the lack of common sense, and alcoholism that occurs every episode. The owners and employees wonder why the bar is failing, and the obvious answer is that everyone is drunk. I'm not a genius or anything, but I know an alcoholic shouldn't be running a bar. Yet, every episode here we are. (I learned that lesson from Pookie and New Jack City.)

I could watch the NFL network, but they aren't allowed to tackle or hit any longer. Something about brain damage.

I am very happy that the Universal championship is off Brock Lesnar. Granted it's now on Roman Reigns, but it is a definite improvement over the creep that is Lesnar. Now that steroided out hurt machime can freely go back to UFC and injure as many people as Dana White is willing to let him.

A mini Shield reunion happened on Raw too, and it was the only logical way to get Reigns over and not jeered as the champion. Because the crowd and all wrestling fans do not like true bore that is Roman Reigns.
